Flying in from London for a few shows in Europe, we got the very funny Matthew McAloone! From being one of the BBC Comedy Award contenders for 2015, it’s been nothing but up the Northern Irish storyteller, whose confident stage presence and sharp writing make him a must see act.
Tim Hill
Tim Hill is a recovering cynic. A backpacker who settled down to become a dad. A sweet guy with a sting in his tail. But above all, a smartass who loves referring to himself in the third person (he really does). Tim is cheap, clean and sustainable and is therefore considered by many to be a viable alternative to fossil fuels.

The talented Mr. Scott might be the only Sjoerd in the world who is not Dutch! But his fresh and likeable storytelling is quickly taking over this country.
Fedor Ikelaar is a perpetually travelling comedian. He recently became somewhat of a sensation in Ukraine, when his comedy shows there went viral. Previously he founded Silk Route Comedy in Nepal, and he’s currently performing all over Europe and Asia.
Jacob Adriani is Comedy Spotlight’s organiser and MC. This is his website. My website. Hi! I’m Alkmaar born and bred, and a regular in the Dutch and English scene at Comedy Café Amsterdam and Comedy Club Haug in Rotterdam.
The maddest lad in the European comedy scene! Irish, mentally unstable and possibly a communist revolutionary. He’ll have you sympathise with spiders and ponder pineapples like no-one else.

Under the name “The Jeroen Leenders Experience” he performs fully improvised stand-up shows. In 2010 Jeroen Leenders won the prestigious Leids Cabaret Festival and became the first Belgian member of the legendary Comedytrain collective in Amsterdam.
Kristel Zweers has been a staple of the Dutch comedy scene since 2001.
After four theatre tours in NL, she went international: she founded the first comedy club in Singapore and had a successful run at the Fringe in Australia.
Irish-born Stephen Bell has been a beloved staple of the Dutch/European comedy scene for years now. Unapologetic, a little crazy, and most of all hilarious!
His unique blend of sharp cultural insights, quick wit and wild, expressive storytelling is something you’ll remember for a long time to come.
With Hermes Ahmadi you are sure to get some truly nutty comedy, in both Dutch and English!
The Afghani comedian has been a favourite at the Dutch Comedy Spotlight shows and is currently working on his first hour-long comedy special.
The German Michael Jäger has been a hit in the international circuit for the better part of a decade. His strong stage presence and observant humor make every show memorable!
Michael is a regular at Comedy Café Amsterdam and Comedy Club Haug Rotterdam.
Tim is a recovering cynic. A sweet guy with a sting in his tail. Intelligent and easy-going, but full of surprises!
As co-founder of The Comedy Embassy, Tim also runs the biggest English language comedy shows in Amsterdam.
